Drake Delivers

As promised Drake delivers two songs to end the year with, and features on Future's "Shit" remix and YG's "Who Do You Love." We have a day left, so lets hope we can get more. The most anticipated song "Trophies" bangs. With his brash lyrics and unbelievable beat, Drake has us itching for more. Lets not mention Drake business moves in 2013 were amazing. 2014 is going to be an amazing year. King Drake ladies and gentlemen!

Feature Friday Vol. 2 - Nero

For the 2nd installment of our Feature Friday, we've chosen the almighty Nero. From their huge drops in the track In the Way to the beautifully haunting melodics from Reaching Out, they've inspired and innovated the EDM industry in a way that is unmatchable. Below is a compilation of the tracks that they've produced thus far that are creatively unique and worth giving a listen.

Since the album release of the lucrative Welcome Reality, the group has been hard at work in the creation of their next production stating: "Sorry to have left you in the dark for so long. The 2nd album is coming 2014." That statement alone gives a hint towards their upcoming album, I'm thinking it is going to be a darker almost nocturnal themed album. With the statement they left us with, they also posted an image and have also uploaded an upsetting preview for what they have been working on through their soundcloud. I wouldn't suggest listening to it but if you want, it's 28 minutes of nothing. 

Besides their cliffhanging update, Nero has also released some singles to keep their fans at bay which includes a collaboration with the release of the film The Great Gatsby, with a track titled Into the Past. I'm under the impression that this track will serve as the type of sound we can expect from their upcoming album. Strong, dark synths with the ominously angelic vocals of Alana creating an almost eerie atmosphere for the fans.

I've never really been a huge fan of Bieber however, this track produced by Diplo is on point. It's got the right amount of vibes to make you feel chilled out and enjoy the ride. Big Sean lays some lines in this track as well with his sexy vocals, it matches really well with the beat but the rap is kinda "eh". Overall, this track is made sexy and listenable because of the almighty Diplo, he always gives us great beats to get down and dirty to.

Apologies for the delay in content. I am finishing up my last course in school over this weekend before the Holidays. I will be fulfilling a lot of new content over the next two weeks including the implementation of a new YouTube channel and a lot more organized layout. Feature Friday Vol. 1 - Gemini

Feature Friday will be newly implemented each week. I will pick an artist that has made some pretty awesome beats that I feel just aren't recognized well enough for the amount of quality work that they put forth. This week I've chosen one of the first dubstep artists that I absolutely fell in love with, Gemini. His beats are sick, his drops make you fall to your knees, his vocals are always on point and to top it all off, he even sings for some of his tracks, including his cover of Drake's track Crew Love - and he kills it of course. Check it out, it's the second track on the playlist below. I've compiled the tracks that I feel need some more recognition, they are all great listens. 

Gemini has been working hard on a new album with no date released, however he did make a promise: that the next thing he releases will be an entire album and not just bits and pieces of work. "The album will be accompanied with a story that I can only describe as a journey through a world of black & white. It's about escaping reality to find your rightful space. Expect the original Gemini. Expect Blue. Expect Born To Die." He also released an album cover teaser via Facebook, which is also where he seems to do most of his updating.

Elizabeth Rose - The Good Life (Emoh Instead 'Poolside' Mix)

Okay.. I know that it is snowing in most parts of the country, but down here in Florida - it's sunny and hot. The song titled The Good Life by Elizabeth Rose was mixed by Emoh Instead and it hits me right in every way. I'm a huge fan of deep house music, it makes you want to dance or chill out or study... Or not study. Either way, this track is a must-listen if you enjoy house music, or just good music in general.
