I'm not one to enjoy remakes because it takes away the authenticity of the original writer, producer and director's work. However, the upcoming remake of Carrie looks to be one that will surely frighten even the bravest souls.
If you haven't seen the original, the storyline is as follows: Girl is shunned by everyone including her mother. Girl realizes she has telekinetic powers. Girl uses telekinetic powers to destroy everything. End.
Anywho, if you really think about it, Carrie is basically Matilda on her period. It comes out this weekend (10/18) with select midnight showings. Check out the preview below and let us know what you think!
