Coming in at first, Gravity accumulated $55.6 million, leaving its competitors Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 2 and Runner Runner, in the dust. Setting a new record, this marked the largest opening for any film in the month of October including Paranormal Activity 3, beat out at $52 million. This too is a celebratory moment for both Bullock and Clooney as the film gave both actors their largest opening weekend to-date. What are your thoughts on Gravity?
Update: I saw this film tonight and it was amazing! I suggest anyone to go see it and be ready to be amazed. Go 3-D or go home, this film will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Sandra Bullock sells this role in so many ways.
